Indian government works through its ministries. Ministries
are divided into cabinet ministries and ministries for states. Cabinet Ministers
and Ministers of states are the chief of ministries at central level.
As we know, India has three-tier parliamentary government.
Among Central, State and Panchayati Raj Institutions/Municipalities, the
ministries are set up for central level. Each ministry has its departments at
central and state level.
Clearly, Ministries are ear, nose and arms of the government
in parliamentary democracy. The nation gazes towards ministries for solution of
their socio-economic problems.
